Bridge Tool and Die, a manufacturer of carbide and steel tooling for extrusion, deep draw, cold heading and end form tooling markets, has announced the purchase of American Die and Mold (ADM). According to the announcement, the acquisition of ADM is in line with Bridge Tool and Die’s strategy to grow in the tooling markets by bringing its machining and marketing expertise to the injection molding market.

American Die and Mold was established in 1985 and supplies tooling for automotive, building trades, medical, aerospace and a wide range of other industries, for producing products such as decorative parts, mirror brackets, steering components and suspension components.

The merging of these two companies expands Bridge Tool and Die’s capabilities by doubling its manufacturing square footage, bringing in experts in machining injection molds and adding CNC milling and related equipment.

“In the past Bridge Tool and Die’s main strength was in machining of carbide materials. This partnership gives customers more options while providing a one-stop source for tooling. As an ISO certified company we bring a quality mindset to the production of molds and dies. This, coupled with our extraordinary customer service, will help our customers meet their tooling needs on-time and with unparalleled quality,” says Glenn Bridgman, President and Owner of Bridge Tool and Die.
