Beckman Precision to Host Open House
Hurco distributor Beckman Precision will showcase the Hurco VM10U 5-axis machining center at the Beckman Precision Manufacturing Technology Event February 29 and March 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at their Greer, S.C. facility.
Attendees will see firsthand how 5-sided machining can increase the profitability of their shop. With the Hurco control’s intuitive 5-sided conversational programming that doesn’t require a CAM system, the 5-axis VM10U can easily save up to four hours per part and reduce the number of operations by 70% compared to using a 3-axis VMC. Additionally, 5-sided machining retains accuracy because it eliminates the need flip the part and refixture it multiple times.
Beckman Precision will also display other technology they represent in the Southeast, such as wire EDM, cylindrical grinding, and turning centers. No registration is required for the Beckman Precision Manufacturing Technology Event and complimentary food and beverages will be provided.
