What is InMotion?
InMotion provides our audience with the latest technology available online! This product offers online video delivered to you in sync with related documents and transcripts. This in-depth information about each individual video segment provides you with one of the most flexible and reliable multimedia experiences in our industry!
What do I need to experience streaming video through inMotion?
If you can see the inmotion player image, you already have what you need installed on your computer. If not, you may need to download some free software to enjoy video on the Web by following the link below.
To play inmotion player, you must install Abode Flash Player 8.0 or later. To install the latest version of Flash Player for free, go to the Adobe website. If you don't know what version of Flash is installed on your system, you can find out by using Adobe's Flash version test. If you have the correct version but are still experiencing Flash-related problems, try uninstalling your current player and then reinstall the latest version.
System Requirements:
- Operating systems: Windows 98 (or higher), Mac OS X (or higher)
- 128 megabytes of RAM or higher
- Monitor settings: 256 or higher colors; 800 x 600 or higher pixels
- Sound card / speakers
- Macromedia Flash Player 8.0 or later
For better performance, it is recommended that you have:
- A broadband Internet connection, such as DSL, cable, satellite, or T1
- A 24-bit true color video card
I don’t see the link to the inMotion player or a link to download the flash player.
There is code on the page that will begin to download the flash player if your system is configured to accept downloads. With IE you may see the information bar immediately below your address bar waiting for you to confirm your acceptance of this download. (see example below) Simply click on that bar to complete the download. Follow the prompts on the screen to finish the install.

What is the difference between streaming content and progressive download?
InMotion is a streaming media product allowing for the best viewer experience for our viewers. Audio and video files can be very large. Progressive content can take several minutes (or even hours) to download to your computer. Streaming media technology allows you to see or hear the content in just a few seconds, instead of having to wait for it. Your only wait is a few seconds for a "buffer" to be built up… that helps avoid interruptions caused by internet traffic problems and puts less strain on your computer.
Why does the video sometimes stop or pause?
If the video stream pauses, it is probably due to one of the following factors: internet traffic congestion, a slow modem connection, or insufficient computer hardware. If the problem persists we recommend that you restart the video.
What about firewalls?
Some organizations and Internet Service Providers filter or block video transmission. If you cannot get video transmission despite meeting the computer and software requirements listed above, you may want to contact your Internet Service Provider or Network Administrator to see whether its security firewall is intentionally or unintentionally blocking video transmission.
Videos do not download
If you are using proxy server, you must configure the proxy server to allow streaming content on port 80. If your proxy server is in a business environment, ask your network administrator to configure the proxy server for you.
My popup blocker won't let me watch inMotion Videos. How can I fix that?
Pop-up blockers may prevent the inMotion video player from opening. Setting your pop-up blocker to allow pop-ups from MMTonline.com will fix this problem. Please see your pop-up blocker's help section for more information. Many popup blockers can by modified via a "settings," "options," or "block/allow" button.
I can open the player, but cannot see any video and other problems with video quality
If you know that you can have permission to access video transmission (see firewalls above), a browser error may have occurred. Try closing the player, and then reopen it.
If you are still experiencing problems, your Internet Service Provider may be experiencing problems with their servers. Try viewing video on other pages or sites. If you cannot view other pages, and if the problem persists, you should contact your Internet Service Provider.
If you can access the player on another machine or other people can view it, it may be a problem with your browser cache.
