MoldMaking Technology Magazine has a rather unique system for serving its readers better, and that’s by having an editorial advisory board (EAB). The EAB members, which change every two to three years, serve as a valued sounding board on so many different topics. They help us with shaping content that matters to mold manufacturers and they share their knowledge and expertise on many levels and in numerous ways that enhance every MMT issue.

In today’s Throwback, Steve Rotman, a former MMT EAB member, shares how his company, Ameritech Die and Mold in Mooresville, North Carolina, uses a “specialist approach” to managing operations in the plant.

The article, which is titled “The Specialized Approach” appeared in our April 2015 issue, and can be found here. In addition, several of Steve’s fellow EAB members also contributed tips and insights on a wide variety of topics during their tenure. You can find a few of their EAB Insight columns here.

By the way, if you haven’t already noticed, we have a new EAB and have been introducing one member in every issue since January. We’re excited about this group and feel sure they will provide a host of fresh perspectives and ideas going forward, just as their predecessors did!
