Technical Talks Boost Exposure, Reputation in Industry

 

If you’re passionate about what you do, and you want to share your expertise in a thoughtful, respectable way, you should consider becoming a technical speaker at an industry event. In fact, the Society of Plastics Engineers, Inc. has issued its call for technical papers for ANTEC 2018. This time-honored, annual technical conference (hence the name ANTEC) is a great way to share your knowledge with a global audience.

SPE has many technical divisions, including two that are directly related to MMT’s readership: The Injection Molding Division and the Mold Technologies Division. Both are looking to find industry experts willing to submit technical papers and present them when ANTEC is held next year.

A notable factor this year is that ANTEC will be held concurrently with NPE2018—on May 7-10, 2018 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. If your company will be attending or exhibiting at NPE, then you or someone you work with can take advantage of yet another promotional opportunity with a technical twist, all at one location. (By the way, you might want to consider snagging an opportunity to speak at Amerimold 2018 in June, too.)

Submission guidelines and details from A to Z will be posted on the ANTEC website soon. For now, I urge everyone to consider submitting an unpublished paper that highlights new technologies, techniques, moldmaking supplies, materials and innovations that help advance our industry. If you participate, you’ll also be able to listen in on other presentations and perhaps learn something new. Either way, it’s a winning proposition!
