EAB Member company MET Plastics is now Met2Plastic LLC as it joins Dedienne Multiplasturgy Group and gains access to enhanced technology that sets the company up for growth in metal to plastic conversion applications for its existing and potential customers.  This joint venture also allows both companies to become transatlantic (USA and Europe), opening the door to sales abroad. The acquisition also provides Met2Plastic with increased size and capacity while ensuring all employees remain in place. This presence in Europe, along with the ability to offer new material and plastic and composite process technologies, makes Met2Plastic a more dynamic organization.

“Dedienne is a forward-thinking plastic and composites processor,” says Mike Walter, president of Met2Plastic. “Joining forces with a like-minded business will help us both to flourish as we grow our operations in North America and in Europe.”

Met Plastics (now called Met2Plastic LLC) is a custom injection molder and mold builder in business since 1970 and dedicated to being a single source solution provider for OEMs that require mission-critical components. Met2Plastic is based in Elk Grove Village, Illnois. Operating since 1947, Dedienne combines its Multiplasturgy concept around the design and manufacturing of technical and cosmetic parts as well as sub-assemblies using high performance plastics and composites for metal replacement, from prototype to small and large volume.
