Cavalier Tool Presented with MMT's 2015 Leadtime Leader Award

Sandwiched between the closing of the first day of Amerimold conferences and the kick-off of our casino night-themed networking party was our annual Leadtime Leader Awards presentation. I was honored to take to the podium to present Cavalier Tool & Manufacturing Ltd. President Brian Bendig with this year's Award.

2015 Leadtime Leader Award Winner Cavalier Tool & Manufacturing

Each year, MMT searches for companies that have successfully set a higher standard for overall innovation, efficiency, quality and commitment in mold manufacturing. This year’s winners raise the bar once again. Both have instituted high-technology, value-added services and an employee-centered culture in their shops, which makes them leaders in their field.

Cavalier Tool & Manufacturing of Ontario, Canada, has transformed its business by implementing a standardized, flexible process, advanced technology and a people-centric philosophy that helped it earn our 2015 winner title. President Brian Bendig accepted the award.

The 2015 Honorable Mention title went to Dynamic Tool & Design of Menomee Falls, Wisconsin. Dynamic’s formal ownership culture, full mold qualification services and highly-automated production operations helped it nab this year’s HM title. Accepting the award was president Dave Miller.

Each shop also has a unique story to tell, which unfold in the video feature created by Creative Technology and in our June issue feature stories by Senior Writer Matt Danford.

This award is sponsored by Progressive Components. As a supplier of tooling components to this industry, Progressive understands the importance of innovation and the need to speed mold manufacturing, so it is pleased to once again sponsor this annual award. MoldMaking Technology and Progressive extend their sincere congratulations to this year’s honorees.

If you are at Amerimold, stop by and visit Cavalier at Booth 505 and Dynamic at Booth 500. And if you’re interested in nominating your shop for our 2016 competition, stop by MMT's Booth 731.
