Ellwood Specialty Steel Co., a steel supplier to the tool and mold and die industries, legally changed its name to Ellwood Specialty Metals Co. effective as of November 2023. The decision came out of the company’s rebranding to recognize the significant investments made at its New Castle, Pennsylvania, facilities which expands Ellwood’s aluminum offerings.
The addition of the Ellwood Aluminum cast house within the Ellwood family of companies enables the company to be a vertically integrated partner from cast to distribution for both steel and aluminum.
This is a name change only and does not impact any of Ellwood’s normal day-to-day business. All other things remain the same; the company will continue to operate under the same ownership, federal tax identification and location.
